Because of the shiny finish, I would say its best for normal to dry skin and slightly oily skin.I can't speak too much about lasting power as I never really used it for more than 4-5 hours and never experienced any fading away.

However, it does have quite a shiny look to it, so its best to always set the foundation with a powder (I use MAC MSF Natural in Medium Dark). It also looks exceptionally natural in sunlight as well. Therefore, I'd say its best for night-outs or weddings as it doesn't have a sunscreen in it either. MAC F&B is also amazing for flash photography as it doesn't give any flashblack or any white casts. During the winter months, I keep it in my makeup bag or dresser but in the summer months I store the bottle in the fridge and decant some into a smaller container that I can regularly use.

Mac foundation c4 plus#
M.A.C Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation, 0.52 oz C4.5. MACs Auto Parts 44-36285 - Mustang Neutral Safety Switch, C4 Transmission. It is said to last for about 2-3 years before it goes bad and it's life can be extended if stored in the fridge. MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation - C4.5 - 15g/0.52oz. Even though, I've used this foundation (occasionally) for more than a year, I still have 80% of product left. Other foundations on the market that are along the same price range, typically give you less than half the amount of what F&B gives. This foundation also gives you the most bang for your buck if you buy the large size as you get 120 ml or 4oz for $40 CAD (Smaller size is $30 CAD for 50ml). The only reason I went with C35 is cause things kept looking pink on me even when they were yellow toned.AFTER: Concealed, followed by 2 layers of MAC F&B and powdered. Did the same thing but upon application the tone. Then I tried NC40- she says its more beige than C line. She matched me with Studio Fix Powder in C4- on application it looked good but it did shift a bit and turned orange. I wouldnt go to C35 unless you're actually olive otherwise it'll make you look greenish or ashy depending on your actual undertone. OK I finally got officially foundation matched by a MAC MA the other day. Powder foundations normally darken once your skins oils mixes with it so it's better to go a shade lighter(if you find the shade turns orange) then spray with Fix + so you don't have to wait for it to oxidize. It tends to be more golden compared to NC30 and NC40. I do know that NC35 is actually a bit more yellow. The C range with a single digit look pinkish on me but that could be due to my olive tones contrasting with the slight pink tones. Which is why people that go from NC to C feel they're "more yellow" but it's actually due to their NC shade having too much beige. Some of the lighter shades may have more beige and some of the darker shades more brown. The C shades with one digit aren't true olive colors. NC shades are yellow with a little bit of beige.Ĭ shades with one digit (C2, C3, C4 etc) are yellow with a little bit of pink.Īre yellow with a little bit of green.

Side by side it doesn't look that much different- I was too tired to try out C35 and just got NC35 but should I really have gotten C35 instead and not listen to the MA and trust my instinct? OK here's the question- if she originally matched me up with C4- is it that much different than C35? I thought C35 would have been a better match since it seems like the NC line doesn't have enough yellow or is C35 much more 'Olive' than C4? Then I wanted to try out C35- she says this is too olive-green toned for me and NC35 would be better since she thinks I have more of a golden beige skin tone ( plus it was the color I used in the past- pretty good match but not enough yellow for me. Did the same thing but upon application the tone was off not enough yellow.

Then I tried NC40- she says it's more beige than C line. Actual item may vary depending on fill and condition. OK I finally got officially foundation matched by a MAC MA the other day. Wishlist this item to be notified when we get more Wishlist.
